The “Blackstone”, is made from Black Brazilian SoapStone. Measuring 3″ X 5″ X a full 3/4″ thick this is a base that will stay in place on the desktop and look very luxurious in the process.

The torsion bar mechanism is the same as my other keys and features a super smooth and effortless motion. Set up at 25gm of tension the custom and hand-formed finger pieces remain unmatched in comfort and feel. After all, the finger pieces are the primary connection between you and the device so a great deal of time is spent shaping and finishing the finger pieces. I know of no other key manufacturer that does that. The action is unparalleled and not like any other key on the market. It is used by new and very experienced ops around the world who give my unique torsion bar design very high marks regardless of price or complexity.

The key comes to you wired as a paddle and I include a 3.5mm stereo to mono adapter at no charge so you can quickly convert it to a cootie. It’s the cleanest and easiest way to make a single lever paddle into a cootie. Hey…two keys in one right!?

All other components are hand machined.

Since it’s a natural stone, there are slight variations in color and there may be subtle striations throughout the stone which is totally normal. The soapstone surface is hand waxed finish and all components are protected with WB Smith Brass Polish.

Total weight is 1 lb 10oz. with soft flat rubber feet that keep the key from moving during use.
